Hello, my name is Rubin, and I am a certified Geriatric Care Manager. I hold a Master of Science Degree in Gerontology, a concentration in aging care such as Home Health, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Long-Term Care. I have been able to develop skills as results of my experiences as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Rehab Director, and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. I find fulfillment in helping others navigate through the care continuum.
It can be frightening when receiving a call that a family member has been sent to the hospital and needs inpatient care in hopes to return to their prior level of living. The rush of needing to find a location, the unknown, difficulty understanding what questions to ask or even what to expect can be terrifying.
